Hello Gang! I’m Desiree’ a native Washingtonian and a single parent of one. I create content to empower women on how to truly make lemonade from lemons. A few years ago, I experience the most devastating disappointment in a failed engagement and I learned to pick myself up and put the pieces back together. I want to share great tips in how to live a fulfilling/meaningful life intentionally. I do this through sharing dating advice, places to socialize, and leveling up professionally. The Why:

Girl…..aren’t you tired of lying?!? Wouldn’t you much rather like to sit in front of your girls with a glass of wine and weep and laugh at all your dating woes, life desires, challenges, and insecurities in all your fabulocity without judgment or pity? 

Well today I plan to let my truth lie here. With my new virtual girlfriends.

Trust me, we all had those experiences the shame of failed engagements, relationship challenges, ghosting, relationship/career disappointments, unmet professional expectations, but girl its all good. 

Life goes on!

You learn how strong you are through those experiences! You become the person GOD has intended you to be.

I want this blog to be a place of authenticity. I want to share my life without a filter and hope to not offend the people I care for.
