Norwegian Cruise Line Sky: My First Cruise

Oh what a time to remember! Last month I experienced my first cruise with my mom and it was everything I could hope for. Norwegian Cruise Line didn’t disappoint. The food, the entertainment, and the destinations were well worth the money!

I had the great privilege to take my mother on a vacation for her birthday and it was incredible.

Building memories are extremely important to me and creating those moments with my loved ones is essential. Losing my dad in October 2021, was such a gut-wrenching experience. Feeling like you missed opportunities to build more memories is heartbreaking.

Time is extremely precious and not taking advantage of it wasteful.

So, creating great memories was the goal of this cruise! A goal we accomplished!

We had such an amazing time. Norwegians made us extremely cozy in their staterooms . The cabins for lodging was spacious and beyond clean. The cuisine was plentiful and tasty. And the entertainment rivaled the best local theaters.

My mother and I really enjoyed our time along the Norwegian Cruise Line! We both found time to explore the ship together and independently and we truly took advantage of all it had to offer.

A highlight of my ship adventures was jogging in the morning on the track that lined the lowered deck with a beautiful scene of sea surrounding me.

We enjoyed it all!

The ships entertainment included, countless trivia games, plays, parties, concerts, casino, games, and even comedy shows. And these are only the things we were able to do. There was much more the Norwegian Cruise Line had to offer.

But more importantly we enjoyed each other’s company. We met so many people of all ages. People we we danced all night with, teamed up for trivia, and even tanned with on the beach.

Everyone was extremely kind!

While the ship was only operating at what we were told was a half of it capacity due to COVID precautions, the service was remarkable and not one thing would have made you think this was the case.

The Norwegian Cruise Lines: Sky really allowed us to make the most of our vacation. Their specialty restaurants ranged from steakhouse, sushi, and even Italian.
