Gone are the days that cigars are only for retired old men! No ma’am(or sir)! Woman are becoming a leading force on this scene. This article will give you great options for cigars for beginners or the best cigars for women.

Several years ago I started to smoke cigars after years of fearing I would be totally dependent on the urge to smoking a cigarette.

You know the urge to smoke after every meal, after every cup of coffee, and during the snow or rain. In fully transparency, I had a nicotine addiction for about 5 year or longer, when I was much younger which literally took the true intervention of GOD to overcome.

Having such a difficult time quitting cigarettes I feared trying a cigar. After having a heavy addiction to cigarettes, and being cigarette free for years I didn’t want to immediately have the urge to want a cigarette after working so hard to get over the habit.

The best way to have cigars for beginners

But cigars were different. The allure of it, the smell, the look, the sophistication of it all. I wanted in!

On the beach in Cancun, Mexico a local offered my friend and I a cigar. I decided in that moment I was strong enough to enjoy an experience without losing control.

Let me say adamantly, I am not encouraging you to smoke or certainly not if you have broken a challenging habit.

Moreover, I wanted to be able to lay Oceanside, have a few cold alcohol beverages and cigar and soak up the sun. That vision was the vacation I truly wanted!

And now, this vision is my most pleasurable way to enjoy the beach with a few cold beers, and a nice cigar to accompany lots of tanning of course.

Ok so which cigars should you try as a novice?

If it’s your absolute first time trying cigars I would strongly encourage you NOT to go for a favored cigar. Really get into it!! Go for a light to medium body cigar.

Insidious By Asylum- reasonably priced and very smooth. It’s not popular at many cigar lounges so sometimes this one is difficult to find but a treat if you can
Arturo Fuente – Love this brand so you can’t go wrong with either serie however the Chateau Fuente is the way to go!
Montecristo- White – is the perfect starter
Cohibo (Siglo)- is simple but smooth.
Olivia- Serie O- this brand is usually the first brand that someone would offer you as a starter. It’s light but doesn’t scream of very strong notes.

Cigar etiquette for women

If interested let me offer you quick tips to looking sexy and demanding every guys attention in the cigar lounge.

Ask for a hole punch or a v-cut when cutting the cigar. It’s less messy trust me. No nasty Tabaco or wrapping residue in your mouth or on your perfectly puckered lipstick coated lips. DONT forget to wear lipstick. Be bold! Don’t ask for the hostess to cut the cigar, allow your date or the closet guy nearby.
Allow the smoke to escape your mouth while the cigar is still in it. This move it ultra-sexy but it may take some practice but try it while out. Practice makes perfect.
Have a nice glass of wine and/or beer while smoking. Cross your legs and be overly courteous to the hostess or the people around you. Do everything so absolutely dainty that you look completely out of place in the overly male saturated lounge. This will demand their attention. You would look so intriguing to them that they will not be able to stop staring.
Travel with a mini sample/travel size perfume in your purse (you should do this as a woman any way). On every occasion you get up to go to the restroom refresh with your perfume. Smelling like flowers in a cigar shop is only a bonus! You can thank me later!
